I still don't like that you have to buy weapons (which is fine, though they're mad expensive), armor (why, oh why, did they go back to multiple armor slots?), spells (and scrounge up the license points to use them), items (I end up restocking on potions a ton), and gambits (though these are cheap). I fear I'll never be able to afford good sets of armor for everyone, at this rate. My level is more reasonable now, but even though I made tons and tons of money, I still only had money for weapons and some spells. Once I could afford new weapons, it really helped. Succulent Fruit are worth a good amount of coin. Grinding westward through the sandseas (only made possible by intentionally looping through areas to level) got me a few nice chains. Other weapons and attack magic aren't as easy to use effectively. Oh, and sword-wielding characters in medium or heavy armor seem to be the easiest, provided they have White Magic to heal themselves. Make sure you have your Gambits set on all three characters to Attack Nearest while you're killing weak enemies for LP and skeletons for cash (but turn off the gambits or hold run when you're in parts of the Lhusu Mines with other enemies or you'll break your chain.) That way, you just move the control stick around and your characters will automatically charge at any enemies they need to kill. Do this whenever you need lots of money for the first half of the game. (You'll also get decent LPs while doing this.) Keep going until you get 99 Bone Fragments, then sell them to a shop for lots of money and buy the best gear you can. As long as you don't kill anything that's not a skeleton, your battle chain will get higher and higher and you'll start getting lots of Bone Fragment drops. The skeletons will have respawned and you can kill them again. Leave the area, then keep going around the curve until you get to the next zone (which is the first bridge), then run back to the second bridge. (About 50 will rise up over time if you keep walking back and forth, but I usually just kill the first set or so.) Kill skeletons there until they stop coming for a while, then run south (or whichever way the dungeon entrance is) with the "Run" button held.

(It's the second bridge.) It's full of skeletons. There's a long bridge that you can walk past on either side. If you want the game to be really easy, walk around Giza Plains killing hyenas and bird men and rabbits until you get enough LP to get the augments I mentioned above, and avoid the two werewolves (and their zone if you have to), then go to Lhusu Mines. (Are you sure you've looked around the areas near the bosses? Maybe you missed them.) (The +500 HP augment is particularly useful, as are the three Swiftness augments, the three augments that reduce MP cost, and Battle Lore.) Save frequently there will usually be a save point right before each boss.

Kill weak enemies like wolves to get License Points quickly and make sure you get some of the Augments. Have at least two of your party members set to cast Cure when someone gets to 50% HP.
